I also bent the bracket, but it pounds back pretty easily. The bracket
actually comes out with only one bolt, I would recommend pulling the whole
thing and swapping switches. You can put the new switch in and then bolt
it back in. Doing that method will require the break pedal to be depressed
while you bolt it back on.
Hell yeah…. 2 gallons of moonshine in the background!…. my kind of shop
I just did this it took about 30min. Be careful when pulling the old switch
out. I ended up bending the bracket on accident and spent most of my time
just realigning everything. Still a pretty easy job to do, it’s just a
tight space to be able to see directly.
