Does the back of the stock head unit have RCA jack?
S?
Great video ! thank you a lot bro ^_^
Too noisy
Is blue. 6k led light. It is very low on voltage and it hardly gives any
light. If your about to purchase one of this camera go for the highest in
price. This one only cost me about $23 but only lasted about 5 months. Then
I had to replace it, that’s when I did this video. So I had to redo
everything. At the end I ended up taking them off and replacing them with
32 LED on each side. Super bright. Best of luck
Hi, Great video.. Could you please tell me which is the color off the
license plate light? Is it white or yellow light? Thanks!!
indeed I am. =)
Thinking about getting this camera for my e39, just wondering, is the led
next to the camera a white or yellow led?
I see your using the included BMW screw driver ….
is this an after market camera?
your welcome. Glad you accomplished a nice and clean job.
will this work with bmw e93?
Thanks.. Yeah, I wasn’t able to put those images on the video. That clip
when I connect the RCA to the screen and where I test the system got
deleted when I was video editing by accident and I didn’t wanna brake
everything back apart. Sorry about that.
=D glad to hear that.
Nice DIY! Thank you!
Thanks for this. I was able to do this today because of you.
No I haven’t. But when u blow a BST, don’t you loose power to the entire
vehicle?
Awesome video, thanks dude. Can you also recommend me a good back up camera
for 328i convertible.
your welcome.. Thank you for watching
Lovely video! Very helpful!thanks
thanks for the video, I was wondering how to get power.
what song is this and nice vid btw!
There are some opening on the trunk. Remove the cover and you’ll see them.
then, run them under the seat towards the passenger side. Run them under
the panels by the doors. Lift them slightly with a flat head screw driver.
And just work your way up to the head unit. Use the panels to hide the wire.
@alaaafaraj That’s what I want to upgrade to. Well, if Ur gonna install it
on the stock screen provided by the dealer, make sure there’s a Video
Input. Other wise Ur gonna waste Ur time.
But i have no kamera in my car tell me how should i install in my e39 525i
2003
Hi good job but i have a question that might seem silly but where is the
image wil be transfered to?is it to the stock screen u have?or u should buy
one?and all the connectings r done in the trunk only?thanks in advance
Thanks, I’m not that much familiar with the e60’s. All you need to find out
is if it has a Video In-Put, if it does that’s all you need. You plug the
orange RCA cable into the input and the power cable to the reverse light
bulb. After that I wont be able to tell you how the functions on the screen
will work once you put it on reverse, if it will switch to the reverse
camera auto or you would do it manually.
your welcome.. And thank you for the support.. =)
search on ebay under (e39 backup camera) I will recommend you getting a
camera over $50. this cheap ones only last about 8 months. Then is a hassle
to replace them, like I did when I made this video
Thanks… =)
ebay. u can get one for about $25
If its the stock navi its going to be a bit complicated. Might need to buy
an adaptor. Only way of knowing is by removing the screen and finding out
if it has a Video Input. If it’s an after market it will have a Video
Input.
do you have to change out the screen and do the factory radio in an 04 545i
without navigation has an place to plug into?
