Where could be located this sensor on a 320d 2.0 diesel ? e46

The E46 looks much more robust than the E36 IMHO. I would put in the Signature Motoring performance intake kit for only around $150 and gain up to 13HP on the stock output for the 330i and a bit less for the 325 and 328. I highly recommend this item, see my youtube channel for the action video on it.

-Installs in round 45min.
-Guaranteed HP increase
-Induction sound to die for
-Awesome fit/finish.

See my video of how it sounds AND performs!

I have been tracking down my own intermittent coolant leak and believe that it’s my o ring. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for getting back! Unfortunately here in Australia, you have to buy the entire coolant sensor. When I tried to buy the rubber O-Ring from USA, they charged 60 bucks for the shipping so it ended up being cheaper to buy the sensor itself. Also everything here is ridiculously expensive for NO reason. Ergh!

Glad it helped! In the USA, we have companies that supply products to industrial customers that use high pressure hoses… hydraulic, pneumatic, etc. The one I went to is called “Power and Rubber Supply,” I think. Auto parts stores also carry this type of o-ring, but not usually in the size you will need.
