please dont touch another audi. First off, the tensioners have a VERY
specific amount of tension that need to be applied in order to not throw
codes. If its overtightened, it reduces the life of the timing belt you
DIDNT replace significantly. Also, the reason why the dealership charges
that is because they would replace the timing belt, tensioners, idler
rolllers, and would use the PROPER g11/g12 coolant. Stick to domestics pal
First thing I will say to this comment is BRAAAWHAHAHAHAHAHA Now Thomas…
This video is what… nearly 4 YEARS OLD and THIS car with THIS water pump
and timing belt is STILL running fine WITH NO CODES!!!!! I really hate it
when people THINK they know everything… especially people that own shops
and work at $ealerships. Which of those idiots are YOU???? Now go away and
stop trying to scare people into thinking this is rocket science and
charging them WAY too much for these simple repairs.
@GearHead1625 Okay, I wont take this as a bash… It has been a very good
car. It has nearly 250k miles on it with almost all original parts. As for
the style… it is 15 years old remember. Thanks for checking in.
Glad you mentioned this. My coolant in my a6 2003 is low and am not sure
how to add coolant to it. Do I just place it into the radiator or do I just
place it in the over flow? I know that I need to place g12 in it, but, I am
not sure how to add it to where it is mixed 50/50. Please help :/
Good job sir! I got one question i just bought 96 c4 at first it was
running all smooth but today (Dec 11th 12) the host to the radiator rip off
like totally rip off and the water all came out like crazy, the strangest
thing is in the box (radiator water/coolant box) that supposedly holding up
water it has oil in it and some debris might be sand? Do u know what’s
seems to be the problem? is it a minor problem or major?
@edzgarage ok tanks for this, now another question if u dont mind, how is
the tensioner removed? lol sorry never done this, people are telling me to
change everything while im down there but the timing belt looks top notch.
Lemme know what you think. Thanks
