VW / Audi door striker pin replacement

These door striker pins are often worn out. Replacement is a snap, and the parts are cheap! After a quick adjustment the door opens and shuts much more easily.

@clubcar98 The yellow bushings are Bilstein parts, so I assume they’ll be
of good quality. You’re right, they do look a bit odd though.

You didn’t show the removal of the old striker and installation of the new
one, nor did you show the adjustment process that got your door to close
properly. I can’t speak for anyone else but those things are the reasons I
wanted to watch a video like this.

Another thing I found was the latch mechanism on the doors get nasty and
cruddy. I need to replace my striker pins and clean/degrease the latches, I
don’t care much for the yellow bushings on the ones on eBay but I am just
too picky.
