I need this system with shipping to mexico city, do you can send?

Mitchell WildFlame says:

does this work with windows 8

Toole's Garage says:

Sorry for the delay. Estimates range at our shop. From $750, to $1600 depending on the car. We do not do a lot of makes and models.

Toole's Garage says:

Yup, very nice…Going in our 56 Chevy Pickup build

Toole's Garage says:

Well, installing it on the clutch switch could be possible. You will then have to have your foot on the clutch to shut the engine off. There really is no key, just a little flat RFID tag that stays in your pocket. Why would you want to have the original key? It is designed to eliminate it 🙂

Cesar Chavez says:

Is there any way to make it where instead of pressing the brakes you press the clutch to get it started (just more used to pressing it when starting a car) and is there a way to use the original key rather than the one that comes with it? Btw, thank you for the video, finally just what I was looking for! 🙂

NO KEYS ! PUSH THE START

Toole's Garage says:

Well Dylan, follow the directions very carefully, theirs are pretty clear. If you run into any trouble. Brian over at Advance Key is great with tech support. He can walk you through any scenario.

Dylan Smith says:

I finally am getting my money back from that piece of crap one, and ordering one from Advance Key. I’m installing this into an 2003 Lincoln LS v6 I am putting the push button in the same location it is in now. What would be the best and easiest way to install it?

Quick Estimate on this install ?

Toole's Garage says:

Hey George, you can have your installer call me at that number. I will be in most days at 8:00am PST. I can try to help him out. Keep in mind, we install a specific unit, not all are the same. If he has info on your kit, I will do what I can.

Toole's Garage says:

Thanks Dylan, hopefully it all works out. If you cannot find that wiring schematic you need for your car, let me know the exact vehicle info and I will find it and email you a PDF.

Dylan Smith says:

Just wanted to say Thank you Dave for your help, and hopefully have my car back and running asap.

George Robinson says:

Hey Dave, My installer is having the exact problem
this is what is happening

“When you walk away from the car the doors lock, when you walk towards the car the doors open the windows roll up but the car does’nt start. The car turns on where the dash lights up but no start it just flashed red. Can you supply me with some trouble shooting material or some detailed instructions on how I can get my car to start please. ” I would greatly appreciat it Dave is it ok for me to call this number?

Toole's Garage says:

Hey Dylan, sorry to hear about your dilemma. Give me a call on Monday at our shop and I will see if I can figure out what is not working. 650.594.1128. I will be in around 10:30am PST. I have helped a couple of installers remotely get their systems working.
Dave

Dylan Smith says:

I am wanting to put one of these in my Lincoln Ls 2003, and no one around me does it so i have to do it myself. I tried to hook it up the way the directions said and i had NO luck, now my car doesn’t even start with my key, what should i do?

David Toole says:

Advancedkeys website is a better/cheaper place to get it

Martin Arku says:

2goKeyless website

LaDesh80 says:

wait what system was this? where can i get it?

Toole's Garage says:

@eddo617 thanks for some props, the only way to have good connections is to solder them.

Toole's Garage says:

@eddo617 the customer did not want it in the lock cylinder location. We will put it in the back seat if you want. True, there are some nice looking buttons out now, this was installed a few years ago. So, to put the button in the dash where the customer wanted it, yup, you got it, you have to drill a hole. Everyone has their own concept of what looks good.

Toole's Garage says:

@Martin Arku it can be installed in most cars

Toole's Garage says:

@Levi Carroll true, but if you want a smooth solder joint that does not pop out of the shrink tube, you do what you gotta do. My fingers survived.

Toole's Garage says:

@MrCambiocorsa1 the lock cylinder has been removed.

Levi Carroll says:

Installed by professionals… Grabs hot solder with bare fingers…

MrCambiocorsa1 says:

Good job on the install. I am curious, when you hit the start button how does the steering wheel unlock?

Toole's Garage says:

I would imagine that if you had something fail within that system, your choice would be to have fixed professionally out of pocket, or remove the system so there are no traces until whatever went faulty is fixed. It should have no effect on anything else on the car, like drivetrain or suspension. It will not cause something to fail either. Hope that answers your question.

Hexyldraqs says:

What does this do to your warranty??

Toole's Garage says:

Hmmm, not sure what you are trying to say.

Jonathan Lin says:

I have a question: I own a 2001 Mustang GT and I hate the fact that the cigarette lighter stays on even if the car is off. I want to put a toggle switch in series with the plug using an Oracle Lighting LSGQ16FB Blue LED On/Off switch. Is it wise to do that? Constant current will be running through the switch when it’s on. I’m wondering if other electronics are put in series with the lighter and would not be functional if I cut power to the lighter. Thanks!

Toole's Garage says:

Actually, if not equipped with power door locks, you can add the PDL to the car. Costs a little more, but still worth it.

Toole's Garage says:

The cost varies on the install. The labor generally runs in the $350ish range, depending on the install customization and brand of kit.

desertfox2020 says:

Any car with power locks can have a system like this

cdecast82 says:

What’s the cost for installation alone? I just purchased one on eBay.

hhhkenjhdujdj says:

Please get back to me can this be installed in a 1980-85 Chevy caprice

ChuckCrapp says:

And that’s really good prices to be honest… The parts are most of that at 45$ hour in labor you guys would be pretty freaking fast.

Kenkilleroftoast says:

If your key doesn’t have a transponder and you go with the cut key method do you need a ignition / passlock bypass module?

I attempted to install this myself but went through a local shop. I told them I might need a bypass so they wired it to one.. A few days later my battery died and I have to drag my truck back in to them.

maoboy87 says:

how long does it takes you guy to do all of that cuz i’m about to get it done but they saying its gonna take day

Toole's Garage says:

Wow, if someone was willing to pay 5K, we would be all over it. Installed after tax it ranges as low as $750.00 up to about $1500.00 depending on mods.
