Thanks for the video it’s really helpful. But I would suggest that you
change the fuel filter before using the purge step, this way you don’t have
to prime the fuel pumps after changing the fuel filter (in cases where it’s
needed which can be a hassle) you are giving the pumps enough time to fill
the filter and lines with fuel and purge out air. overall I like your
videos. cheers

hiya nice video . do you have to disconnect the fuel tanks electric lift
pump ?
you shouldn’t talk about yourself like that.
orange cat? you mean ginger cat
No not a problem. This is how you do it.
nice kitty. love the fact that you wore gloves. too many people are giving
themselves cancer you know.
I LOL’d at the cat!
Could you just pull the in tank lift pump fuse out?
No, it should have come with a box of dry dog food. Rattle the box and the
cat will come to you.
I have the diesel with cooler system how can i do that?
I have read that the 06 Jetta also has a fuel pump at the fuel tank that
could cause problems during this procedure. Is that why you combined those
two hoses off the fuel filter canister with a coupler?
@blueneet84 I’ve now learned the key to a popular video: cats.
When i went to the “push orange cat away” step, it wasnt there. -Am i
missing parts from my purge kit?
Is it possible to just fill the fuel filter housing with the purge instead
of removing all the lines?
good video easy to follow , just done my audi 2.0 tdi
This is a pointless video
hi , I have a vw polo in India . our cars do not have a return to the tank
. can i just fill up the fuel filter with diesel purge and run the engine
and then put in a new filter ? Thanks .
the best part of this video is obviously the cat !!!!!
normally your filling this diesel additiv in you fuel tank, thats a way
more easy and you dont have to remove this cheap plastic clamps that VW is
using! 🙂
I just saw a video of a guy doing a DIY tire removal from the rim. I got
distracted by the chickens on the backside. And now this video. Lol.
this is just a cleaning product for the injectors/fuel rail and pressure
system you dont have to do this at any point as long as you change your
fuel filter regularly or are experiancing problems with your fuel system.
these fuel systems on vw engines are very reliable unless they are expossed
to dirty fuel.
purrs like a diesel 😉
What was the point of this?Did you do this to clean the fuel rail or to
purge the air out the the rail?Trying to learn as much as i can about these
diesels & you seem to know these pretty well. Thanks in advance for the
answer.
Actually the cat is the supervizor…
Wszystko fajnie, tylko po co.
haha most awesome cat ever! Sitting on the engine and purrs 😀
Hi, can you tell me what size pipes u using? And thank’s for video!
Cats are so nosy! LOL..I love cats; dogs are OK too I guess.
