you work well but apparently it is possible to perform it without dismounting any suspension element…which would also save the alignment.

Is that a chrome socket on impact gun?? Oh NO oh no

6:42. Yeah, that bolt broke. Slowed everything down quite a bit.

Who cares about torque specifcations? Not this guy 😉
Another thing; why remove the whole thing from the car? You can easily remove the drive shafts on these cars, getting access to the 4 bolt at the back of the hub carrier, without hasseling with the famous bolt at the top. Also I would press the hub onto the bearing before mounting the bearing to the hub carrier. But that's just me 😉

would this same procedure work for an A5 (dec 2009) sports back 2.0TDI?

Jim Schmidt says:

Triple square at 8:45 mark, not Torx.

GREAT TUTORIAL!!! A few questions……. Is it suitable to use the "blue" thread lock or should I use "red"? Also, I noticed in most cases you re-used the same bolts. When you re-use, should thread lock be applied anywhere besides the wheel bearing and brake caliper bolts? Lastly, what did you spray on the wheel hub at 18:11?
