Just did this job on my S4. For the life of me, I could not get the intake tube onto the o-ring using this method! Pro tip: undo the worm clamp to separate the coupler that takes the 2 spring clips. Then, press and clip that onto the filter lid/assembly BEFORE you screw the filter lid onto the housing. Infinitely easier that way. Appreciate the videos nonetheless!
This is the same procedure for the 2014-2016 Audi Q5 TDI air filter and snow screen.
My old filter has a cover over the air filter vut the new one hasn't come with one. Seems you'res doesn't have 1 either so maybe it's bot that important.
If you need a SQ5 for you next video, you can use my baby!
This is not 100% applicable to 2018 and up sq5 (the interior and attachment on the 2018 is different) – should change the title of the video to reflect that
I hope this is the same for the Q7 3.0 TFSI!
Your videos are extremely helpful. Saved me so much time, money, and frustration. Very much appreciated.
And I thought my engine bay was dirty! Damn! That poor SQ5 needs some TLC.
