How to install intake on 1.8t car DIY (audi, vw golf, jetta)

DIY of a custom short ram install on 2004 jetta 1.8 turbo. If you like the video please let me know and i will post more like intercooler install etc.

I mean the big hose for the secondary intake i think? I bought a 1/2″ filter and found it didnt fit haha so i put gasket seal around it for a temp fix any help on wat filter i should get or is my setup fine?

I dont recomend using a short pipe, like the one in this video. i have a 2000 GTI VR6 with the same install as this video. The Problem is that the battery cover cuts off some of the air to the intake. In fourth gear i couldnt go over 3,200 rpm due to the lack of air, just to be sure i put the stock one back, and my fourth gear was normal. I suggest using a down pipe to go behind the front bumber.
