what did you do to the vacuum hose?
Secundairy air system (SAI). It is connected to the secundairy air pump (the one that makes a turbine sound on a cold start)

what is the second hose for on the air box?
Did u guys have to cut the pipe coming out of the maf? Or did everything just clamp on?
its supposed to be kind of loose, i was thinking of making a custom bracket but never got to it
how can i stabilize the air intake from moving? or is it supposed to be loose?
Easy gain of 5-8 HP takes literally 20min for people with no knowledge of tools
what did you do with the breather hose?
from the bottom, completely removed small hose
very easy
How many HP increase with this modification?
for someone with zero automotive skill, would this be easy?
I mean the big hose for the secondary intake i think? I bought a 1/2″ filter and found it didnt fit haha so i put gasket seal around it for a temp fix any help on wat filter i should get or is my setup fine?
How did u put the small filter on the other hose that was in the air box i cant figure mine out?
Can I please help me? Look at my video of vw golf
no problems on 1.8t’s
I dont recomend using a short pipe, like the one in this video. i have a 2000 GTI VR6 with the same install as this video. The Problem is that the battery cover cuts off some of the air to the intake. In fourth gear i couldnt go over 3,200 rpm due to the lack of air, just to be sure i put the stock one back, and my fourth gear was normal. I suggest using a down pipe to go behind the front bumber.
lol my buddys golf somehow still badged
lol what is it with all jettas having the vdub logo missing on the engine cover i have mines missing and ive seen other vdubs with it missing aswell lol , weight reduction? ahah
