Why do you not mention that it is the S4 B8 the video is about? Video is from 2018 so I thought it was the 2018 S4. Have a Thumbs down for fooling me.
For my 2004 Audi A4, if I change the battery in the key, I have to pair the car and the key back, or it won't work. The key with the new battery can't open the car by remote, so you have to physically open the car with the key, put the key into the ignition, press the lock button, then the remote key starts working again.
Is it the same with the new models of Audi VW?
Hello, I have a question for all 3.0 tfsi owners, what is the fueld consumption at idle in your cars, mine sits at 1.7 L/H … is this normal ? audi s5 3.0tfsi 333hp 2013.
On my S5, I also get a soft fault code when scanning the car. After replacing the battery and clear the code it didn’t come back
Also surprised the car didn't warn you the battery in the fob was low like it should.
The fob is your valet key. Not the physical key itself. The way the valet works in that car is you can use the physical key to lock the back seats so they cannot fold down and then you press the valet button in the glove box which will disable the trunk open button on the driver's door as well as the key fob. You then lock the glove box, take the physical key with you while giving the valet only the fob part and now the valet has no access to your trunk(where you should put anything you don't want stolen). If you give the valet just the physical key, they will not be able to start the car.
