You need to put caliper grease into where the gliding bolts are when mounting them into the new caliper… That being dry probably is the reason for changing the caliper in the first place. this will last only a few years.. Please add grease!

hey there, just putting some feelers out to a few how to posts, for some help, but I had swapped out some b5 s4 front brakes onto my b6 a4, years ago… swapped them and bled them and everything worked out gr8 at first, no issues… car has sat now for a few years after the job, and now when I drive her, I get an awful pulse/ kock when I apply the brakes to come to a stop, and it appears to be coming from the front brakes… any help? thanks man…

after using gravity to bleed the new caliper did you also need to pressure bleed the system or was gravity bleed enough to give solid pedal and performance?

Who wrote this? A "BRAKE PIPE WRENCH NUMBER 10?????" Are you TRYING to say a 10mm line wrench for Gods sakes? I tuned in to find out the size of wrench I need! Thanks.
