Hey Bruce, im running a high output sub system 5000+ watts and my amp has a lot of power draw. What are your thoughts on upgraded alternators for the b8.5 generation?
I recently had my aftermarket sub installed. The shop tapped my sub lines to the LOC. RCAs to sub of course. When we turn the gain on the on the LOC passed half way the speakers has a humming noise coming from them. I've read it could be the ANC active noise cancellation or that I need to get a DSP. This for an 2018 Audi A6 with Bose.

Hey all! So I was wondering I have a 2014 Audi A5 with the B/O sound system. I am planning on upgrading to all kicker system and subs. I have a 1800w amp and will not be using the factory amp. Will my alternator be enough for it to work and not mess with any of the Audi electronics?
Nah , fam this definitely won’t for me…. My problem is my factory amp controls my mmi interface like navigation etc My factory amp is blown… I need a head unit or something…..2years without music…. Just engine & exhaust what head unit u recommend? Plug & play

you're the best. The subwoofer in my is ok but no more power i tried to level up the subwoofer volume but the volume remains very low. I'll do the same like u and hope will works
