Thanks for this great video! I tried this mod on my 2010 S5 over the weekend but my factory mirror caps are/were glued to the mirror motor support frames. Any thoughts on how to get around that? Have you heard about that being done on any other B8's/B8.5's? Do you have any tips for how I might be able to get them off w/o damaging stuff?

There is a 4th screw that’s not a hex
Totally Wayne where the cables go to the mirror heating… it's just a restistor to heat it.
How did you remove the 2 red things on the mirror with out breaking them? I have a 2016 A4

how do you put the turn signal in? every video skips this part and it's the one thing i can't get to fit, ridiculous, why would you skip this part?

Hi, Great tutorial. Thanks a ton.I have a question. I have an A4 2009 model and the right wing mirror indicator light is broken and needs replacement. I just checked your above video and it helped a lot. I just want to confirm if the top and bottom part can be removed without having to remove the motor that moves the mirror.
