Custom Skid Plate Install | ECS Tuning Street Shield Audi A4 DIY

I review and mod the ECS Street Shield to fit the A4 B7. I talk about the construction, design and walk through the DIY install right up until it doesn’t work. @arc_fab_performance on insta helps me change the mounting points and I upgrade the hardware to secure the bumper cover.

Good choice trimming it back, bumper looked really unhappy before!

Hey, I just wanted to let you know, the cover that goes over the battery, was NOT factory fitted. Its on other models like the RS4, but NOT standard fit to A4's. You can simply order the parts from the dealer, its two parts, one big cover and a smaller one to access the battery terminals. Both from a dealer in the UK cost me around £35.00. They are well worth buying as it stops the rain water draining from the windscreen all over your battery and filling the space where the battery sits. I still have my undertrays, both of them. They are a little beaten up, and secured in places with zip ties where the original fasteners have broken. 109k miles Revo stage 1 and its going strong.
