This video is right on time as my wife's 2014 Jetta GLI just had a tensioner failure and jumped time (96k miles….smh). It appears that the basic setup for her engine is the same as this, just a transversal mount instead. Of course it bent valves and I'll be either replacing the head or having it repaired, depending on damage. I'm searching for videos about swapping the head now…
