Your video looks so simple but it didn't work for my Australian delivered 2021 S3. I looked through the other comments and found that Andrew Bass from the UK described how to open my identical looking but quite different key fob battery cover. Thanks Andrew. However, my problem doesn't end there. The battery is locked down by two fixed plastic tabs and I have given up on removing it without breaking the tabs. Unfortunately this means a visit to my nearest Audi dealership and probably a long wait. It beats me why I have easily changed button batteries in multiple devices over the years but Audi have "designed" something reminiscent of Alexander the Great's Gordian Knot.

Thankyou. However I’m in the UK and after a lot of fiddling about we realised it opens differently for the UK A3 model 2021. Exact same key fob as in the video but no screwdriver needed. Just very carefully prise from the side of the panel that pops up with fingernail. The clips that hold it are in the corners and not at the end.
Finally someone who can teach! Best instruction by showing us the little clip after the back is off. Excellent! THANKS!
