Generally Thomas it was in most of the video. At 9:45 where you started
putting the grease in the joint was just out of view. Couldn’t really tell
if you were putting the grease around the joint or directly on the ball
bearings. I saw later in the second joint where the grease was around the
joint.
Great vid! btw when turning the wheel to the right and removing the axle is
this always possible because i find i have to remove the top control arms
go gain enough room to remove, also the 190 torque on the axle bolt is that
all that is needed or does it need another quarter turn after?
Good to know that you can exchange the joints from one side to the other.
Not to be nit picky, but some of the video of interest was just a little
out of screen near the bottom. Take care Thomas.
“Sometimes you have to hit the inner race real hard.” Factory method is to
use a forcing screw. Maybe the boss could splurge: $99:

One Audi CV joint must be over $200.
Great video!
