Audi B8 S4 Rear Brake Replacement DIY – Brake Rotors & Pads (Audi S4, S5, & SQ5)

Audi B8 S4 Rear Brake Replacement DIY – Brake Rotors & Pads (Audi S4, S5, & SQ5)

►Replacing the rear brake pads and rotors on your B8 Audi S4, S5, and SQ5 is an easy task that you can tackle yourself at home in your garage or driveway. With minimal special tools, you can have your rear brakes replaced in under two hours.

The Audi B8 S4 is a remarkably capable car, and with a few simple mods, it makes a considerable amount of power. To stop that, it’s crucial that you have the best brake parts and that they’re functioning optimally. Featured in this DIY are the Zimmerman Z coated brake rotors and TRW Ultra ceramic brake pads. TRW’s Ultra ceramic brake pads offer stopping power better than or equal to Audi’s OEM brake pads, all while staying quiet and dust-free.

Follow along as Aaron Davis, our Audi Catalog Manager, takes you through the step-by-step process of replacing the rear brake pads and rotors on your Audi B8.

I think you need to screw the caliper piston back in using the 3 notch tool that matches the face of the piston.

A vehicle that requires a scan tool to replace brake pads is from a Manufacturer that's milking it's customers dry.

You don’t need to take off the caliper Carrier. Rotors slides right out
