Thank you Volkan!
I like your Job my Friends 😉
You’re welcome my friend :-)
Awesome video. Exactly what I wanted to see.
I’ve taken a look at the pictures but I can not see much on them, sorry. Maybe just drive by your local Audi dealer?
I probably have a different model or year I’m not sure, I appreciate you taking time to respond to my inquiries. If you have some spare time I decided to take four photo’s of what I’m working with. The 3rd picture is of the casing removed and my access to the bulb.

That’s very weird Nick, sometimes wires are in the way, tried to move them a bit?
I mean the lights look just like that. I don’t understand why even with a LED flashlight I can’t locate the bolts shown in the video.
Turns out dude who owned it before me installed HID lights. It has no visible bolts down in there to remove the whole fixture and I have to basically change the bulb from its set position after removing a plastic casing.
They are there, but a bit hidden. Maybe try to locate them using a bright flashlight?
I can’t seem to find any bolts behind down in there what so ever… its the front left. I got the two on top… Just wont come out and can’t locate a 3rd let alone a 4th bolt.
Very nice of you. Thanks alot 🙂
There are some sharp edges which can damage the paint, the tape prevents that.
Bulbs are easy to change, just unclip them and take them out, reverse to place new bulbs 🙂
Why do you use tape to take out the head lights? And how do I change the light bulbs themselves? 🙂
Yes you are right, the first headlight we did with painter tape but then the roll was finished 😉
With the exception of using Duct Tape, this was a good vid. Use painter tape instead…
Just a normal tool, with extension 🙂
I had to take my intake out lol, my torx driver was too short. What exact tool are you using?
Yes it’s the same 🙂
this may seem like a dumb question but, is it the same way on the B6 S4?
Thank you so much!! :)
is torx T30…)
Not sure, just try 🙂
T30?
Torx … what number? T….?
You have to use Torx keys.
as far as I know it don’t, for the B7 you have to remove the bumper.
The video is fantastic. Congratulations. What is the key used?
thanks
Protecting against possible scratches.
– I have an Audi A4 .. Whats with the tape ?
Well no duh, its the body model that changes things not the model/engine size
I have an Audi a4 1.8 and it`s the same way to change it
Ok thanks
Sorry I can’t tell, only have experience with this Audi so far…

Is the procedure the same with a 2005 A6 Quattro or I have to take the bumper out ? thanks , great video btw
Hey, great video btw. Does this also work on a 2005/2006 Audi A6 or you must take the bumper off ? mine is a Quattro and I will like to replace the stock with the aftermarket . thanks
Okay awesome thanks for the speedy response!
I don’t know for the B7… I think you need to remove the bumper on the B7 but I’m not sure. If you want to paint the inside you have to “bake” your headlights. We have different video’s showing that process, for example the VW T5 projector retrofit video.
Is this the same process for a B7 a4? Great video by the way! also, I am trying to paint my light on the inside how do I take the cover off?
Should work, yes!
sweet jesus! doing it this way looks way better than the ol’bumper removal. can this be done on the b6 4.2 s4 aswell?
