Also wondered why my new thermostat did not come with a gasket or round
black rubber seal. Is it unnessesary?
Thanks for this great video. I am currently working on replacing the
thermostat on my 2002 A8, same exact engine. I figured out that the
fan/clutch was righty tighty for loosening it. So its off now. Im stuck on
the timing belt roller though. Is it also righty tighty to loosen? I just
cant risk stripping it. Please get back me me soon. Thanks!!
This is GREAT!!! I was about to take my car over to the dealer after seeing
what “had” to be done by removing the bumper, timing belts etc. This truly
was a life saver! Thanks for the post.
