Audi 3.0T Crank Pulley DIY (C7 A6/A7, B8 S4/S5, SQ5)

Audi 3.0T Crank Pulley DIY (C7 A6/A7, B8 S4/S5, SQ5)

This is our DIY showing how to replace your Crank Pulley on an Audi 3.0T. On a C7, you may not have to use service position to do this job if you have the right tools, but it does make the job a lot easier. If you want to learn how to put your car into service position, look in the links below for our video on it.

I replaced my 187mm crank pulley with a Velocity AP 205mm oversized crank pulley to achieve a Dual Pulley ratio and finally go dual pulley on my car.

Let me know what you think of the video in the comments!

Say you forget to check the position of the offset bolt hole….. would you still be able to thread every bolt in without much resistance? Or do you think you'd notice once you go to tighten them? I did this job a little while ago and can't remember if I checked correctly so now I'm a bit nervous.

thinking of buying a 2012-2014 audi a6 with the 3.0tdi, is it really worth the extra money to buy the 245hk instead of the 204hk? Is it so much difference in acceleration that its worth it, or is it just dumb in the long run because of the extra fuel consumption? I need help!

What would you say is the best order of operation if I'll be doing the crank pulley & upgraded HX at the same time or does it not really matter? I was thinking bumper off, service position, pulley, then back into normal position & then HX. Great vid & thanks!

Love this video! Quick question though, has your Cats gone bad while driving DP? Or have you already swapped the cats for down pipes or test pipes.
