Sorry for the late response I didn’t get a notification. If you haven’t
done it yet you need to Wack it counter clock wise with a rubber mallet
and/or with a stick thick and strong enough to get in the ripple of the
retainer Wack it gently sometime they break which then you need to buy a
new one.Hope that helps
Hey man, quick question. I have to change the fuel pump in my Audi A4. How
the hell do you get that out of there? I have been pulling and pulling on
every part of that whole plastic housing to get it out, and I can not

yes. if I’m not mistaken is been a while just go easy so you don’t crack it
otherwise buy buy lock ring just encase to have on hand
I am also replacing my fuel pump on 99 A4. The housing looks identical to
yours. So after i remove all as you did in the video. Then i just twist the
fuel pump housing counter clockwise?
