In today’s video, I’ll show you guys how easy it is to remove the existing mirror caps (even with the blind-spot light) and replace them with carbon fiber style caps for less than $50!!
Even if you don’t want to install new caps and just want to replace a broken one or wrap your existing caps, this video will explain everything you need to know for the install and removal.
I purchased the mirror caps from Aliexpress. Shipping took a little bit of time but the parts arrived on time, nicely packaged and were great quality. These parts are hydro-dipped, not wrapped, so it looks much cleaner. Fitment was perfect!

Are these mirrors just imitation carbon fibre mirrors that are made of plastic? They do look awesome.

I hate doing this kind of stuff in the cold.
FYI you can skip to the process of prying off the mirror cap. The T10 screws doesn't hold the cap in place, I think Audi was doing cost savings and removed the screws that screw into the mirror cap. This should make the process much faster.
how long did it take for you to receive the order?
FYI you can just leave your keys in the car and it won't lock the car door and fold the mirrors. I do that when I wash my car.
