Mark Lindsey says:

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! ’90 Integra battery dead 2 nights in a
row, I mean so dead that it wouldn’t take a trickle charge, but the car
would still jump just fine. Removed my ham radio power feed from the main
fuse block thinking it perhaps shorted somewhere (of course my voltmeter
died at the same time, making this much harder to diagnose). It’s sunny as
hell this week in Southern CA, so I didn’t even notice that the brake
lights were on full, if not ever so slightly because the battery was almost
completely dead. Anyway, just before searching for this video, I found some
odd little plastic parts on the driver’s side floor. Bingo! Now I’m going
to go look for a nice little bolt and nut. Thanks Eric!

Dragon969Reviews says:

This problem nearly drove me crazy with my 93 RX7, why is there a freaking
hole there!?!?!? This problem would never even happen if the metal was just
flat without the hole.

qballtvp says:

A penny and some duct tape works as well. I did that with my Honda.

pacrii says:

Great vid.

Ikaika Kahoano says:

you could just krazy glue a penny where the oem stopper should be for the
switch to press against or krazy glue the oem stopper if it’s still usable.
the nut and bolt is a great idea, too, if you have one that fits.

But without the key in ignition or the lights switch being turned on….
Now when I press on the pedal it turns the back lights on…
but nothing is turned on for the back light to turn on when pressing the
brake…they just do….

Thanks man.
Just finished the bolt fix. It worked like a charm and I didn’t have to
remove the switch to do it. Now, on to the two switches on the shifter. Any
video on those? Just want to clean the contacts up.

SANTOELRUBIO says:
