Thank You!

ahparts says:

Hi, you would have to use an HID for the low beam. You don’t have to remove bumper to replace bulbs, however.

Re: ’03 Acura TL Type S – Do I have to remove the bumper and the headlight to replace the low beam bulb? And do I have to replace the bulb with an HID bulb or can i use a less expensive bulb?

Francis Garcia says:

join acurazine, or pm me if you want to find out how to do it

Juan Morales says:

my driver’s side turn signal blew out do you have to remove the whole headlight assy.to replace the turn signal bulb?and if i do.must take out front bumper cover?

ahparts says:

Could be. Try putting ballast on other side & see if it still happens.

Juan Morales says:

i have a 2001 acura 3.2tl and when my hid are on and i run for a few minutes the driver’s side headlite shut’s off, then when i turn the headlight switch on and off the headlights come on.And that keeps happening. Is that the ballister?

ahparts says:

You mean an aftermarket one? I have seen people install them, but I’m not sure of the process. I know you need to do some wiring work.

Jessica Torres says:

Can I replace the ballast for a regular one which is super cheap compared to the factory one, or the plug changes? Mine is a pain right now and is super expensive. Please let me know. Thank you.

seungweonko says:

Would this be the same procedure on a 1999 acura 3.2 tl? Need to chage my head lights and I was wondering if they were the components?

fkobama1 says:

i sthis the same as the 2007? tnx for the video great help

ahparts says:

Yes, we are in Rancho Cordova. We have a few guys who can do the work. Call our number listed above and ask for Dave. Thank you.

Eddie Alvarado says:

You guys are local in Rancho Cordova right? Do you guys do this kind of replacement if I’d rather not try it myself? Who can I call and ask for? thanks.

ahparts says:

Hi and thanks for the kind word.
We advise switching the part in question to the other headlight and see if it turns on. If so, then you know the part is still good.
Hope that helps!

Eddie Alvarado says:

hi ahparts,
Before I spend the money to purchase anything, what advice can you give me on how to diagnose the problem? I replaced the bulb and it seems to work on occasion. Therefore, I don’t think it’s the bulb anymore. How do I know whether it’s the ignitor or the ballast? thanks. your video was great by the way!

ahparts says:

Yes, it could very well be the ballast, bulb, or igniter. Most of the time for these Acuras it is one of these problems. Not sure about the BMW E46, however.

LosoMFG says:

One of my hid bulbs won’t turn on I have a e46 can this be the reason why?

ahparts says:

Glad we were able to help. Thank you for the feedback.

Anoop Kishor says:

Will try to get one made, but it might be quite a while with other videos in queue. :/

Colleen Farris says:

Any chance you could demonstrate how to replace a passenger-side low beam HID-D2R bulb on an Acura TL 2001 or similar model?

electric10977 says:

Thanks.

ahparts says:

No, you can change the bulb without removing the bumper.
