He’s right. Should’ve used 3m tape
Does it matter what nails you’ll use ?

what exhaust system you runnin?
You couldn't move it back farther on the under the rear bumper?
Use real 3m tape around the top and sides for a more flush fit
Keep searching for a spec side skirts!!!
Its cool if you like it but I honestly think it looks way better without the diffuser.
