Does the battery have to be disconnected?
How do I know I need to replace my resistor, my ac/heater doesn’t work at all (at times) when even ever it does work it’s for a short period of time, and mine looked like the one you pulled out, it had a little bit of that Greyish on the top part of it, almost exactly like the one in the video
