TOOLS NEEDED: You will need a socket wrench to remove the side view mirror. You will also need a panel clip removal tool and a Philips screwdriver because you will have to take off the door panel. If you do not have a panel clip removal tool, you can substitute a flat-head screwdriver.

PROCESS: The first step is to remove all the screws hidden in the armrest and the door panel. Use a flat head to expose the screw in the armrest and unscrew using a Philips screwdriver, again, with a flat head. Use it to expose the other two screws hidden in the door handle and remove them. Now is the time to remove the door panel. Grab the bottom side or wherever side has leverage and pull it gently.

After the door panel has come loose, just leave it dangling and move to the interior mirror cover piece which has now come loose and be easily removed. Now you’ll see three bolts holding the side view mirror and connecter cable. Keep the connecter cable plugged in until all the nuts have been removed as it will prevent the mirror from falling. Remove those bolts with a socket wrench, unplug the mirror and remove it. Replace the new mirror and make sure it’s a quality product because it’s always helpful to know where to buy a good mirror or if the place has guarantees as we do!

Check all electric functions are working before you completely secure every bolt & screw. Congratulations, you replaced your own car part!
