James Anderson says:

Do you have a video for the Acura MDX window regulator?

Yardie Man says:

GREAT tutorial. I made short work of this job on my ’02 Acura TL. Thanks for the tips on the masking tape on the window, and the glue in the socket.

Two things:

1. I ended up with 3 screws “left over”. I was stuck for a minute until I remembered that the regulator came with the 3 “grooved” screws already included.
2. I wasn’t able to test the window until the switch on the door panel was reconnected.

Thanks for the comment. We might have one, but it depends on your engine size. Is your car a 4 cylinder, or a 6?

Salim Chishti says:

Great video. Giving me confidence to try this myself on a 1997 Acura CL. Do you have a regulator for the passenger side of this car? Thanks!

ahparts says:

Hi Carlos, Thanks for the kind word. To check our stock, contact us at info @ ahparts . com or call us. Thanks again.

Carlos Torres says:

Absolutely awesome video. Great job well done, thorough. Hopefully I can find the parts locally if not hopefully you have it for a 2003 Acura 3.2TL just like in the video drivers side front door. Again WELL DONE !!!!!

ahparts says:

Sorry, out of stock right now! Check our web site(in description) for new arrivals.

Andrew DeZen says:

excellent video. do have the 1999 crv door lock actuator front driver side?

ahparts says:

Should be very similar on the 04. Sounds like a regulator issue. Could be off track somehow as well. Best to open it up and run direct power to it from battery if possible to see how it performs.

Robert Morissette says:

great video. Are the instructions the same for a 2004 ? My 2004 passenger window will not go all the way up when the either switch is used (driver or passenger) It goes up about 2′ and then immediately goes back down. Regulator?

ahparts says:

Yeah, it has the same setup. Just think of the bright side - saving money! By the way, we have that regulator in stock if you need one.

Jason Coleman says:

ughh is it the same way for a 03 cl???

ahparts says:

Hi and thanks for the kind word,

Like most places, we always sell the regulator complete with motor, cables, etc.

You can try to super glue it, but I’ve never tried, so I can’t say!

Best of luck!

kyyote1 says:

Excellent DIY video! I learned alot!! Are the parts on the regulator sold seperately? The plastic piece that guides the cable broke off! The window does not close completely. It leaves a small crack opening at the top. Can I use some kind of “super glue?”

Thanks again for the tutorial.

ahparts says:

Brian,

Glad we were able to help. We appreciate the feedback.

Thank you!

Brian Tucker says:

Your video was great and gave me the confidence to install myself. Took some patience and screws were in a different place on our Honda Pilot 2004 but mission accomplished!

ninhbac04 says:

Cool i figured it out. One last question. After i put on my car handle it squeaks a lot now, will wd-40 fix that?

ahparts says:

Try hooking it up to the plug and the window switch to move the bracket up/down to the right position.

ninhbac04 says:

Hey guys, I just bought a new regulator. But the piece of metal that the window sits on it too low to screw in the window. can i manually pull up the piece of metal so i can attach the window to it?

ahparts says:

Thank you. Have a great day!

ninhbac04 says:

great video guys.

ahparts says:

Hi there,

It is pretty much the same concept. Just follow the same steps and you will find similar bolts and patterns.

Thanks,
ahparts

How to do 97 acura cl 2 door

ahparts says:

Pretty much!

17Pulse says:

are all acuras like this ?

ahparts says:

Hi there,

It should be the same concept. They almost always are: Remove door panel, unmount glass from regulator, take out bad regulator, install new regulator, mount glass back to regulator, and finally, put panel back on.

dtarango18 says:

Would this be the same concept for the 3rd gen. TL?
