What’s going on guys in today’s video we are going to do a ‘how to’ on solenoid screen cleaning as well as a transmission fluid change, that could potentially fix some transmission problems on any Honda, Acura, 3.2, 3.0, TL, Cl base and type S as well as most Honda vans and sedans.
Enjoy
Just got a red 01 cl type s 106k miles engine light came on 2 days ago.. CL CLUTCH going out. But no symptoms of slipping.
How many miles does that thing have
My type s doesn’t have 3rd gear I’ve tried changing the fluid but the thing is it doesn’t make any sounds no grinding or crunches do you have any idea what could be the problem? Thanks!
I have a Acura cl same model and everything. I subbed❤️ thanks for showing the Acura love
Might want 2 change ur radiator looks like coolant has been mixing bro
Good call on the Honda ATF. That is a must. More Acura content man lol. Be honest are u secretly liking that Honda. I came from 2 Pathfinders, 1 Altima, 3 Maximas. 4 VQ, 2 VG. Mad respect for 90's early-mid 2000 Nissan. But I switched to Honda/Acura and I'm liking it man.
Dnali we need to have a talk about the Max (stop the part out)
Need to do that to my Sierra!
Off topic on this video. But I have slightly perfect stock G35 that I just bought.id love to do my first build with it but is it worth doing it being an automatic? Need help!
Don't forget to clean the channels inside the engine cover.
Good learning for someone who likes this type vechael
Wooo more Acura Content knew there was a reason I'm still subbed! Love that the Second Gen CL/TL is getting some more attention on YouTube especially since they're the most under-rated Cars of all time because of that damned transmission. If you replaced it with a more reliable Accord V6 Auto from 06-07 then these cars are bullet proof and easy to maintain cars. If you have the Holy grail 2003 CL Type S with the 6 speed manual, then you have the best daily driving car of all time imo.
Hope the type s works out for you. I remember when I was 16 one of my buddy’s got a tl type s and he blew the tranny in a month
Wow, I haven’t seen Transmission Fluid that bad in a while
My broham had a white 03 TL I swear when he got it he did have to do a few transmission back and fourth up keepings but then it was good for a while then he ultimately got a 1000$ trans put in with a year warranty but man those cars have some serious Torque to me lol I drive a 1996 Camry everything feels fast as hell to me but yea if this is based on the same drive train this car is a beast on the low
Hopefully you won't be plagued with any issues with the transmission. I'm on my second 5th gen Altima and you know how those transmissions can be. Luckily no issues with either *knock on wood.
Planning to mod it?
