Letters are hitting the mailboxes of Honda and Acura owners, warning them of a recall on their vehicle and that the part to fix it is unavailable. The fuel pump module, can over time, deform and cause the engine to stall while driving. When the parts come in, the fix will be free at your local dealership. But the letter asks for the owner’s patience, because the parts may not be available until fall of 2024.
Why would a manufacturer tell you about a possible major issue and then not have the part to fix it?
