Depends if your airbags are the problem.
If the SRS light comes back on, your SRS system has a nonresolved problem, and will require further diagnosis and repair.
it work to my acura rsx s but after 5mnts srs its on again!!! i found a new trick..heres if srs lights on again try this put your set belt left n right n follow this vid..thanks
I wonder if anyone was dumb enough to put electrical power to the airbag wires when they tried to reset it lol if you try to use even a multimeter, it can run enough power to the air bag connection and set it off.
If it comes back on, you probably have something wrong with your SRS, albeit an airbag problem, or if you have the same car, probably the seatbelt sensor
Thank You soo much.. wires is so much better.. Im not quick with hands so when I tried paper clip it didn’t work until I saw this method.. if yours failed with clip try this… might aswell..

Kenny, what if you have a honda civic 2010 where the MES module has 4 holes? Which ones do you insert the wires or paperclip into?
The honda civic 2010 LX has a horizontal row of 4 holes for MES.
Took me 3 tries but worked for my 02′ Civic EX. Thanks

No prob man, glad I could help
Agreed, when you’re down there with a paper clip, you cant see the light, as you’re too busy fiddling with a dam clip under the steering wheel
If it comes back on, you probably have something wrong with your SRS, albeit an airbag problem, or if you have the same car, probably the seatbelt sensor

Its works great 2004 civic thanks !!!!!
worked on my 04 EX saved me from giving honda mad money to fix something as simple as this.
it means your problem is not fixed. to reset sts, your problem has to be fixed first itherwise its useless.
what do i do if it only flashes once instead of twice like yours?
