I don’t understand a lot of the hate on here… well, i guess i do since
true carbon fiber is used to reduce weight. but most of the people that
have CF on their daily drivers have it on for the look.. this is a great,
cheap alternative to buying a CF hood. seriously, a CF hood will warp and
fade and look like shit in a year or two. if that happens with the vinyl,
you just order some more for less than fifty bucks instead of replacing a
600 dollar hood.

iJDMTOY.com says:

@dkillahster You would need two standard size (24″ x 48″) CF sheet. About
$30.

theg23saad says:

My acura rsx has a hood with dimensions around 56″ x38″. How would I do
that?

cstritz says:

this is gay. I understand using vinyl for interior pieces but a whole damn
hood? rice

TheAusup says:

Some people live in places where the weather and the winter road conditions
are rough on the paint job. It’s very likely someone might own an old
vehicle where the paint job is still pretty good but the front of the hood
starts showing some marks/corrosion/peeling/scratching. If they drive a
sporty car this is a pretty cool way to revitalize it without having to
repaint or retouch the hood (something that’d cost at the very least 10
times more). I’d say it’s a pretty cool alternative :3

iJDMTOY.com says:

@mclaren2q we’ve never received any complaint about this issue, so I won’t
worry about this.

deadcell1 says:

I guess if you want the look this will be an easy way to do it however if
you want the weight reduction you will have to go in the molding process
and so forth and so forth.

itzwheezy says:

what size should i get for a hood of a 98 honda prelude?

JayHaze500 says:

JVlapleBook says:

MrzXRob says:

Im trying to get this vinyl from you guys so i can do my hood but i need
one larger then you 24 x 48 pre-cut ones i Seen you posted a comment on
here that says if you want to purchase custom sheets to email you guys
Which i did and was told you guys don’t do that . 🙁

mclaren2q says:

@iJDMTOY is there a possibility that the carbon fiber vinyl will peel off
because of the heat of the engine??

TheStunnaLife says:

how is it with the sun and the rain

spikerist says:

what is the size of the vinyl you used??and where did you get that??and how
much is it??..tnx..

theg23saad says:

How do I do it if my hood dimensions on my Acura rsx is around 56″ x 38″?

iJDMTOY.com says:

@spikerist You’ll need 24″ x96″. It costs 30 bucks. You can get it from
our website. See the video description for the link to the product page. PM
me if you have any questions!

David Dang says:

How much for a 01 acura integra hood?

michael white says:

What would i need for a 2012 Genesis Coupe 2.0T Base

fingerfisty says:

it doesn’t REALLY explain it. “lay it on there, smooth it out, awesome
done!” and it’s talking about vinyl NOT REAL carbon fiber. 🙁

TheAusup says:

How big of a sheet would I need for an RSX hood like the one in the video?
Is it just a single standard sheet or did you guys use a custom sized one?

iJDMTOY.com says:

@mclaren2q You would need two 24″x96″ to cover your hood, but I suggest you
to measure how big the hood is before purchasing. If you want custom
sheets, email our customer service at info@ijdmtoy.com.
