Fir a stock motor this is a really dumb thing to do. You more or less just
changed how the air intake looked. Your not going to have any performance
gain when your stock air intake got “cold air” from the same spot as your
Shinny new one

are you educated as a car mechanic? i Wonder because you know so much about
cars?

Nicktrance1 says:

You should really rev the engine a bit in these videos to show the change
in induction noise.

Cool Video! What happens if you hit a huge puddle and soak your air filter?
would it suck water in or since that pipe is as hell would it not even make
it to the throttle body? Also how would a wet air filter affect the car?

Mike Visser says:

Can’t you just modify that new tube/hose and place it near the
throttlebody, to prevent sucking in water by the intake. But when attached,
maybe it will now suck in some engine heath?

Александр Комар says:

replace the camshaft(s) ;)

GetrankTV says:

No, he did a short ram intake before.

EmZvr says:

Great video as always ! Do you plan on testing something like
“CT-Engineering Ice Box” which combines the benefits of SRI and CAI, at
least in theory ? Or maybe modifying the stock airbox so that it takes cold
air from the fender
