Danny Campbell says:

Do you have any coilovers that directly bolt up to a Nissan 300zx (Z31)?

INFMS DRIFTER says:

well, i have a 2008 rt dodge charger, do i have to change my shocks?

7150285 says:

2003 Mitsubishi Outlander LS AWD. Stock clearance height is 8.3″. Anyway to
increase it by half inch at least? I’ve ask the tire/rim shop people and
they said my vehicle only has 1 tire and rim size available after looking
it up in their book.

7150285 says:

oh ok. Is there a way to increase the ground clearance of a vehicle by
changing to a longer strut?

7150285 says:

yeah but slightly larger tire weren’t an option for me since they said…
my vehicle is only available for P225/60R16

AndysAutoSportTV says:

If your truck physically has the room for them, the tire size should be
your choice. a 225/65R16 would probably fit just fine as long as there is
nothing in the way.

AndysAutoSportTV says:

Most common coilover setups are designed for a lower ride height, unless
otherwise stated by the manufacturer.

AndysAutoSportTV says:

There is, but without knowing what type of vehicle it is, we can’t be very
specific.

AndysAutoSportTV says:

You could likely fit slightly larger tires on it, which would give you the
extra half inch you want. There aren’t really any lift options unless you
fabricated your own strut spacers.

Tom Hanrahan says:

Kudos to AndysAutoSportTV for actually responding to peoples questions.
When I have money for it I’m going to do a lot of these mods on my Lancer.

Gentleman150M says:

Really helpful. Ordered coilovers for my VW Golf mk3 and wanted to see how
difficult it would be to install them. If its anything like this car it
should not be such a problem. THANKS 😀

7150285 says:

oh okay, thanks for the advice. I will measure the distance between the
tire tread and the wheel arch to make sure.

AndysAutoSportTV says:

What we typically refer to as a strut is an assembly consisting of a strut
casing and shock absorber. Thanks for watching!

AndysAutoSportTV says:

If they rub during suspension travel or turning, then yes. Thanks for
watching!

AndysAutoSportTV says:

The parts above the tires on that gen Accord are the spindles/uprights and
the upper control arm. They move up and down with the wheel during
suspension travel, so no need to move them. Thanks for watching!

7150285 says:

I’m wanting to increase the ground clearance on my vehicle, is it possible
to increase it by getting the coilovers? Btw, it’s not a sedan it’s a
unibody crossovers SUV

AndysAutoSportTV says:

We always suggest an alignment after lowering or lifting a vehicle. Some
are worse than others, but they’re always at least a little bit off after
any suspension changes. Thanks for watching!

7150285 says:

I know shock absorber and damper are the same thing, what about strut? Is
strut a shock absorber/damper?

Eduardo Contreras says:

WALTER WHITE? ITS THAT YOU?

juuscreamev says:

What Tein coilover suspension is that & i noticed you didnt install any
camber kit. Is it needed with installation of any coilover suspension?

Jared Tate says:

seems easy, thanks for the video!

MTMulishaAirsoft says:

So i have a question. I have a 1989 honda accord i want to slam but, about
the tires is a weird bracket. can i move this bracket or what?

Jack Farrington says:

hey, i want to slam my car, you know wheel arches over the tyre a bit, do i
need to remove my wheel wells to do so?

Prins Bredeli says:

Thanks, i’ll have to save this for use later;)

bballflip24 says:

Do you need to change stock struts if you put adjustable coilovers? and do
you need alignment? Any advice is appreciated.

MrHmoobyajboi says:

do a video of how to adjust tein coilover..

wilocaust says:

did you need an alignment afterwards?

NearCry91 says:

Would have been much easier if you had unbolted the stabilizer link.

WARxRHINO says:

This is going to help me next week when I install my suspension in my

David R. Gonzalez says:

have you guys done a video on how to install adjustable coilovers?

SonnyDC5 says:

What the part number for the coilovers used in that integra

Bimmer Bomber says:

i love Mechanix Gloves 🙂 you guys should do a glove review for track
gloves and mechanical gloves. excellent seat videos, by the way. im
bookmarking them for later 😉 excellent choice in rims and tires, too.
