sahinler52 says:

can you buy it? how you made it

Lisandro Angel Ortiz says:

Anyone can buy it and anyone can make it with practice

bradrsavidge says:

i like it minus the subs not being lined up and the gay led bar from
walmart. other than that the car the amps everything was perfect. i wish i
could master fiberglass like that…

iimakeurgirlsmile says:

fuckin sweet

Steve Clark says:

the right sub is higher

nickistheman0215 says:

dude, they didnt even make sure they mounted them at the same angle and
stuff, so the subs are crooked

hondanation2004 says:

what did you lay down in the trunk befor you started to fiberglass???

danthemadhatter says:

Awesome work

Lisandro Angel Ortiz says:

Ight when you do your and it looks better then talk shit all i see is
cheese on your page so get real

j3rz3yy says:

looks real nice..

Lisandro Angel Ortiz says:

I am located in the north east mainly around the poconos in PA as well as
NYC area and Newark NJ area

Lisandro Angel Ortiz says:

It took about a good 30 hours for everything

JCPM1163 says:

GRAET WORK EXCELLENT

DUBDUECE05 says:

looks real good man

jasonnissan1 says:

looks pretty good, but you may have to re-align one of them and re-skin it.
looks great but that caught my eye.great choice of sub and amp combo..

OBSESSIVE1914 says:

very nice you gave me an idea thanks

dykyy says:

I loved it. N fuck the haters man, they dont know shit. The subs are
powerhouse material. I gotta learn how to do this, this could be a wicked
hobby. And what kind of HU did he put in it?

Nspinicelli says:

Very nice set up man. So I know you can get the MDX and other wood at Home
Depot or Lowes, but what about the materials for making the fiberglass and
other materials for “sculpting” the box?

mistklmon says:

If you make your fiberglass box with heavy oz fiberglass matte, your box
can be just as strong if not stronger than mdf…. and a lot of people dont
like those big square boxes in there vehicle they look bulky and less
professional.

inktoxicated says:

not bad those subs looks heavy as hell and over time from going over bumps
and the beats pumping i have a feeling the screw holes in that glass will
crack out. are the subs uneveN? i like the fact the bass can still travel
thru the amps thru the arm rest into the car. having trouble with my bmw
now going thru money trying to get something to look decent. good idea here

WillyWonkaIsSatanic says:

if you want a good sub and amp for cheap then get an fi ssq/alpine r/Image
Dynamics sub. the other good stuff is rather expensive. get a decent amp
that matches the sub and wiring setup you have.

SykoDj says:

nice install looks clean i have always wanted to learn how to do this but
never had the money

matticus12345 says:

ill probably get sony speakers and amps and stereo, I dont want to be the
loudest thing out there I just want it to sound good so probably only
1000-1500 watt amp would be fine

V10Killer2JayZee says:

man nice trunk setup even though the speakers didnt come out as expected.
I’m thinking of making a carbon fiber box think they can make good bass? i
just stuff my boxes with pillow cases and the sound comes out fluffier..

mistklmon says:

I guess if your paying someone to make it. you can get a jug of fiberglass
resin for $15 and all u need is some mat and a paintbrush… an old sheet
and maybe a lil mdf for the frame…

PJRehlaender says:

@Shane111789 bigger air-space you drop-kick.

Lisandro Angel Ortiz says:

you can buy the materials at any mobile electronic custom shop you might
even be able to get the material at lowes or home depot

matticus12345 says:

400 is more than i exspected but still not that bad, thats excluding the
speakers and amp right?, where could i get fiberglass so i could try it on
my own and how mush would that cost?

8puas says:

contodo respeto un router te alludaria en tus prollectos

HardjumperR says:

shit man that looks very nice dont listen to the others who have no idea
how to to this shit its a great job

WillyWonkaIsSatanic says:

yea, the point i was making was that fiberglass boxes tend to be expensive.
you can get a nice mdf box and carpet it to fit in with youre vehicle. ive
done it

WillyWonkaIsSatanic says:

lmao .. 1000 watts and sony dont mix. what sony marks as a 1000 watt
speaker is really 200… fuck fiberglass for a box unless your dropping it
in a showcar or your an enthusiast .. and an enthusiast wouldnt say “I dont
want to be the loudest thing out there.” and no he doesnt mean 400 bucks
including the sub and amp. he means the box = 400. a good mdf sealed box
generally runs about 60 bucks if you buy it around where i live

123086rsimon says:

Nice work!

dxplicitone says:

Fiberglass cloth is cheap anywhere really and the resin you can certainly
get at your local hardware strore. For the installer, nice setup and you
have some skills for sure but ill tell you bro a great tool i added to my
box when i got into molding glass was a nice plunge router and a jasper
jig… id look into it by the looks of your templates as if you had some
more advanced tools i think you would see an improvement in yourself, as i
know i did. Keep it clean… and again nice job.

WillyWonkaIsSatanic says:

well the whole point i was making was he probably spent more on install and
custom stuff than he did on amp/speakers.. cause this video is about a
custom shop making it.. not home done

RAMSRT500 says:

That looks good man. You on AZine?

Daniel Reim says:

What a f*cking joke! All that work and the fabricator mis-aligned the damn
subs and could not even hide the LED bar? ABSOLUTLEY PATHETIC WORK ON
BEHALF OF THE SHOP.

Lisandro Angel Ortiz says:

yeah you have to use the tin foil so the resin doesnt get all over the
interior

hector garcia says:

hey where are you located at

Rahsaan thomas says:

do the subs still hit hard in that fiberglass vs a regular box

spadeskis says:

i think every amateur can do a better job then these idiots like seriously
if your going to spend over a hour on a enclosure pull out a frickin tape
measure and square that shit up… and if anyone tries to defend them and
say that the trunk isn’t symmetrical Ive got a MKIII jetta and ive made it
look symmetrical

GDBeatz says:

nice and clean….but it would look quality if it was painted…still hard
install

TheZeablik says:

clean work.nice job…

terrorchino says:

i have a cuestion i have a 2007 tl and i want to install 2 amps but the
installer told me that i cant use the original Head unit is that true?

slokytheone says:

THATS A NICE JOB MAN !!!!!!!!!!!

spadeskis says:

so just cuz i havent made a video of my trunk means that i didnt do it…
thats logical thinkin

Lisandro Angel Ortiz says:

I dont know know where your from but you can get most of the material
eather online or at your local home depot but theres some things you prob
wont be able to get at home depot like the mold fabric. On this trunk alone
the guy spend about 2,500 total on the 2 amps the 2 alpine type x speakers
and the Cap and wiring.
