The Headlight Services SMART/DELAY Third Brake Light Flasher was designed for those drivers who might not want to continuously flash their third brake light when in bumper-to-bumper traffic, annoying the driver behind you.
Applying your brake for the first time, your third brake light will flash approximately six times and then turn solid. Touching your brake again within eight seconds, your third brake light will turn on normally without flashing. You must have your foot off the brakes for more than eight seconds before the blinking will reset and your third brake light will flash again.
