DIY: Starter motor for 2010 Acura RDX turbo
Time to do this job is 40min or less, depending if you have the right tools.
Starter was purchase at Advance Auto, brand is carquest.
Tools used in video:
Impact ratchet
1/2 ratchet
3/8 ratchet
10mm socket
12mm socket
14mm socket
17mm socket
Small pliers
UPDATE: 04-28–21
So that squealing noise and grinding was coming from the new starter.
I’ve returned it and got a different brand, I’ve paid a little bit more for it.
But it worked out much better than the carquest brand.
