Mine is leaking only at the top, at the place where the rubber hose meets the metal sleeve. Is there no way to just seal the leak somehow? Like with some super strong glue or some shit?
Suggestion, tie a line, like a small cord, to the high pressure hose at the pump. Then pull the hose out the bottom. That way when you go to install the new hose you can tie the cord to the new line and gently pull it up. That way you can make sure the new hose will travel the same path as the original.
I just replaced the fooking power steering pump only to realize … the pressure hose is leaking. Now your video's got me seriously considering taking this to a mechanic.. I've had enough "fun". SMH I've bought the hose at rockauto. We'll see.
Thanks for an excellent video. How many hours did it take to replace that line? How much is that aftermarket part cost?
How much would you charge someone for this job?

I wish you would have shown the leak in the old line. Was it a crack?

Next time show the maneuvering process of the hose installation because it is currently a PITAS
Is this similar to the 2001-2003 acura mdx's process? says I need to drop the subframe, didn't know if its the same on the mdx.
Reattaching the brackets is actually one of the toughest parts of this job. How did you do it?
What size was the wrench you bought a harbor freight?
nice install and all but you should have showed us where to look for those connections and things while standing over the engine of the car and under.
