I had this same problem with my 91 Integra LS … I had no idea what the
problem was till somewhere on YouTube and on google confirmed it was my
ignition switch… It wasn’t easy but it was well worth it! I haven’t had
that same problem at all.
AutoZone guys don’t know everything they had me changing parts out that
were not the cause of my problem.!

Can you help me find a link to where I can buy the wiring harness for my 01
integra?

I HAD THE KEY PAIN DOWN SO THE IGNITION CAN STAY ON

I actually figured the wiggling out on my own after this happened to me
yesterday. I have since decided to replace this part by myself but on my
ignition system there is an extra two wires that come into the ignition 1
cable. I think I may have diagnosed my problem right, just have to wait for
a friend to come inspect the extra wires.

say if you get it started and while your driving it…it starts smoking
from the steering wheel is that normal??

Hoageyceptor says:

When you turn your key to engage the starter, and it starts, you wiggle the
key basically so it doesn’t die. It needs to start to keep it running. So
just find the sweet spot, it took me a few tries to make it work. If that
works, you need to replace the ignition switch wiring harness. If not it
could be something else. I hope this helps.
