come on eric, i dont wanna buy this… I dont even own honda, i just like
watchin ur vids.

38911bytefree says:

Well, Eirc made clutch vids before, they are long and tedious (I remember
the Focus one). So a new clutch vid makes not a big sense. However, posting
a vid to sell a vid, well people is expecting to see you in action. How
many hondas of this era, manual, are still in bussines ? You are not going
to sell lots of this vids. I love you channel and the way you do and talk
and explain. You deserve money for your time, no doubt, but you can get it
from donations, even using this new sites like patreon. Just mi opinion not
mean to be rude in any way, if I did please excuse me.

LazyManXYZ says:

here we go pandering for money again :(

Riptides99 says:

I’m not hating on this but am curious. Eric has 6 years of content, over
500k subscribers, and over 80 million views across all his videos. Is he
not monetized via Youtube since he is an original content creator? And
secondly would these videos not bring in more money in the long run being
on Youtube racking up views over an extended amount of time via selling
them outright? I know that popular Let’s Players make the lions share of
money being monetized on Youtube and their content doesn’t require setting
up of live shots and step-by-steps that need a massive amount of editing so
that is a consideration of why he can’t keep up mass producing as they do
since more vids = more money. But I believe Eric is a solidly established
enough persona that he’s making enough to not have to “mechanic” as a day
job, but I figured Youtube would be keeping him comfortable by now that
he’d have some cream on top by now.

lineartechbd1600 says:

Eric, although I personally don’t mind this video, I think you should make
a separate video and put it on a new channel called, something like, ‘the
commerce channel’ aka car talk style. I think you would do better there
because people would have one place to go and shop. Also, the other day I
had to do a full tranny fluid change on my accord and I just displaced all
of the old fluid via the cooler lines. Probably got 95% out. If you ever
have to do a transmission flush video, could you please try this method?

Krystal MIlls says:

Eric please continue to do what you do. You should have been doing this a
long time ago. Your content is worth the price of admission. Nevermind
the lazy who want everything for free. They have NO IDEA how much work you
put into the videos, editing, oh and the car repairs! I swear people get
more entitled and lazier by the minute. Fork up the small amount of change
to get good content in return!

Da Coder says:

Everyone in the YT comments who are saying “what? I have to buy it?” must
be really new here, btw Eric if I had the cash, i would def buy these :D

MrMatte0000 says:

To everyone bitching about this video. Do you want to see the fairmont
build? It takes
money to do, in case you weren’t aware.

Layne Brown says:

AWESOME work man! I totally appreciate that you’re going this route to try
and help others and make some income off of it. I hope this works out for
you!

South Main Auto Repair says:

Oh I can see this is going to go over well with the subscribers…. Hope he
doesn’t get mad when I post in depth repairs for free….

Aaron Johnson says:

I own 3 Honda accords and can replace a clutch but I like Eric so much, I
buy all his videos. You’re the man Eric.

Dick Fageroni says:

for this price, I’d have expected the pilot bearing to be covered. NO SALE!

ASVP says:

Not sure why people are tripping over a $20 that is worth investing in if
it pertains to their car. If it was my car, i definitely would since it
would save me time and make me feel more confident about doing such a job.
He spent even more time doing this difficult job because he was recording
it and having to edit it. $20 is very reasonable.

David G says:

Didnt this video use to be free?

Joe Smith says:

+EricTheCarGuy I would pay $20 if it saved me $1500 on a clutch. You’ve
saved me a bunch of money with your how to videos on other stuff. Keep up
the good work Eric.

Dodge wanted $800 for brakes and new rotors. I can do it for a quarter of
that.

Cadde says:

So this is where your channel is going now? I only watch your videos
because i like watching them. I don’t want to buy select videos…
I would donate to you rather than have this scheme running if you are that
strapped for cash.

Narco LepCy says:

+EricTheCarGuy Hey eric, I’m so glad you are gonna makes some money off
your channel (seriously, you should be compensated for the hard work it
takes to produce the videos that people find valuable enough to pay for).
cheers to doing this project. If you start doing 2004 toyota rav 4 or 2002
3.6 grand ams I’ll be all over it. (particularly in the diagnosis and
testing of abnormal shifting, idle, and poor acceleration of the 2002 3.6
grand am).

Tom L says:

Hi,my Equinox 2006 LS daylight not working!!All the fuses, lights, hand brake
off. What should i do to get them to light up?Thanks Tom.

Stronin says:

Just commenting to shove all the entitled prick posts down a bit. If I had
one of these cars I’d definitely pay for a video to know how to do this.

tsaerman says:

Our economy from what I hear is doing so great that everybody is losing
their jobs so I don’t mind a bit Eric trying to make a living by earning a
little income from his instructional videos. And why shouldn’t he? He has
put in a lot of time and effort learning the trade.

calk87 says:

What he charges is worth it. You get a very detailed video on performing
the job. The experience itself is worth the cost of the video.

MattN03 says:

I bought Eric’s timing belt Vmanual for my 97 Accord and it was excellent!
When it comes time to change my clutch, I won’t hesitate to buy this
Vmanaul. Thanks for doing this Eric!

Anthony Filice says:

Ffs the guy barely puts a good repair video up anymore and then he finally
has 3 good videos he can make a series and makes us pay. Come on. I have
definately unsubscribed after this.

Nathan Pratt says:

It’s about time you put a price tag on all your hard work. It takes a lot
more Time to edit all this together then it takes to actually do the clutch
job the haters seems to forget that. Glad to see you Making videos like
this I’ll be sure to buy one if I you have one out for my make and model
that I need help with.

obieezx11 says:

whats the charge to do a job like this? in mericas

krzysiekv12 says:

Why don’t you sell t shirts.

ThePapounia says:

If I’d own this car I’d definitely buy your vmanual.

Great idea Eric !
