Been awhile since I watched. I subbed the "All" buton
Try pumping the tyres up, that might work, then clean the windscreen, that could fix it
THAT KEY FOB CAN REMOTE START THE CAR THE ELETRONIX BEHIND KEY SWITCH IS BAD LOOK ON UTUBE HOW TO REMOTE START
The whole switch needs replaced there is a rode in there that breaks had it happen on my 2012 wv jetta
I'd say remove the plastic steering covers and see if three's a release mechanism to pull out the tumbler and check to see if the column linkage from the tumbler is worn or broken to the steering lock.
A lot of times “dealer only” parts that the national parts chains can’t get, independent body shops can for a fair bit less. Even when they don’t have anything to do with paint or bodywork. I’m sure one of them close by has changed the locks and rekeyed a vw/audi a few times.
Hello from Uvalde, TX
some times you can try turning wheel one way then the other, and putting it up or down.also make shure its in park or netral, have a blessed week!
Turn the wheel..
I love your channel. But please ditch the big fake eyelashes. You are perfect without them.
Emily, I think you look great with all that graphite spread all over you, like a down home Texas girl. Love you videos. Thanks for Sharing!
Try jiggling the steering wheel harder, wheel lock might be engaged. Also, I know it's a different make and I don't know if the VW is an automatic or a manual, but I had a Volvo wait an automatic floor shift and the shifter would cause the key not to turn. Like it didn't think it was really in park, I had to slap the shifter up to turn the key sometimes.
I've had that issue with the steering wheel lock putting pressure on the mechanism. Holding the wheel to remove the tension might have helped ( hmmmmm seems like someone was suggesting that )
You look like a coal miner!! Lol
replace the lock , clyinder and key !
Put the foot on the brake its a saftey thing
hi Emily. take off the plastic covers and hit the lock mechanism with a block of wood . I had a similar situation on a Volvo and that fixed it still going years later
You didn't try turning the wheel as you tired the key, Also, I never use grafite because it's a solid
