Alright here it is new steering gear box, and pitman arm! It was an awesome install with two people (highly recommend). Add a little more time if you are doing it from the ground, but it took us about 2 hours with lunch, and of course BS’ing. Dont be afraid to tackle a job like this very doable!

Guessing this is much simpler on a gasser too. I got a hard to the right steering issue when I am at parking lot speeds or sitting still. I'm going to try to bleed the system first, if that doesn't fix it it's gearbox time I already know lol. Do you have to have the truck running when you're moving the wheel from left to right? I'm going to put it up on jack stands in the front and try to do it that way.

Bout to put one on my 05 2500hd, I've been reading online that the 2500HD are always 3 master splines, has this been the case with the ones youve worked on?

Soaking all that shit down like that with Kroil is a waste. It cracks me up when people just spray that shit everywhere, thinking it's doing any good. Spray it on the actual threads. Spraying that on bolt heads does absolutely nothing. What a typical loudmouth idiot…

Hopefully you have better luck than I did with my 04 lly. Installed 2 different red head steering boxes and both had different issues. Put stock one back in and no problems.
Looking forward to that review! The steering in my 03 is sloppy and I’ve been looking at getting a blue top. Awesome video as always!
