Hey Everyone,
Here’s a video on how to change your front brake pads, wear sensor and rotors on your F30 with the base brake kit. All said and done, this will run you about $250. Just make sure to grab the sensor from your local dealer or let me know and I can order them for you.

If I forgot to get brake cleaner, to clean the slides, can I just use something else that might be around the house? Can I just wipe them down with a wet rag, and dry them off, before adding the brake grease that comes with the pads? Thanks.
What did you put the jack stand under?
Can you link the rear brake parts as well??
Curious, where exactly did you position the jack stands, if not where the jack is? Also, how long is too long for the breaker bar for this model? Thanks.
Great video bro. The sensor part was the tricky part. Everything else is easy.
VIP- loctite on caliper bolts or buy replacements. Trust me, they will come loose and you’ll end up on the side of the road looking for the right bolt from every auto parts store and no one will have them in stock. Then you’ll be walking up and down along the highway looking for that damn bolt, but it won’t be there…
Did you torque the screws that hold the calipers. What are the torque ratings for the screws used to hold the assembly?
I thought it might be helpful to include the torque specs for the caliper bolts (110 nm or 81.8 ft. lbs) Lugs should be 103 ft lbs.
Great video really appreciate it. Does anyone know the torque for the lug nuts on the tire?
What torque is your impact wrench???
Thank you for this video. Keep doing what you are doing Bryan. You are a valuable asset to BMW DIY community.
Hey, what's the link for the rear ones? I could only find for the front..thanks!
Where did you put the jack stand?
