Your 406 is a D8 then with a grey glovebox?
The roller only acts as a dampener to smooth the action of the glovebox, does your glovebox when opened open smoothly or just drop open?
There could be a few subtle differences for the D8 possibly a screw or fastner somewhere different but i dont remember from any time i worked on them.
I followed your video I took out all the screws, even the really awkward one. But there’s still something holding the glovebox in place over to the right side. Mine’s a peugeot 406 1998. But I dont have those white rollers things with teeth that you have at 0:36. For the life of me I cant figure it out. But I dont want to force the glovebox out and break it! Any ideas? Thanks.
Its a job i need to do in the next few months, but there will be a video on the timing belt
excellent video! good job. You could show how to change the timing belt 406 2.0 hdi. thanks
Thanks
You’re really good at making these disassembly videos
