Your 406 is a D8 then with a grey glovebox?
The roller only acts as a dampener to smooth the action of the glovebox, does your glovebox when opened open smoothly or just drop open?

There could be a few subtle differences for the D8 possibly a screw or fastner somewhere different but i dont remember from any time i worked on them.

I followed your video I took out all the screws, even the really awkward one. But there’s still something holding the glovebox in place over to the right side. Mine’s a peugeot 406 1998. But I dont have those white rollers things with teeth that you have at 0:36. For the life of me I cant figure it out. But I dont want to force the glovebox out and break it! Any ideas? Thanks.
