Heater core replacement: 4 to 6 hours ($50 / $850 / $1100)
In this video I show how I helped a friend replace the heater core in her 1996 Volvo 960. This process should be the same for all of the Volvo 900 series cars from 1992 through 1998.

It makes sense of what Robert is trying to show, especially when he misses the critical explanations.
Basically you have to dismantle the car to get the core out. On my 940 it looks like i can slide the core out without removing the dashboard.
Whoa, the 850's is a walk on the park compared to this one. How much work is needed to remove the AC condenser by the passenger side?
sure seems harder than in an 850!
