I am no expert but I don’t know about spraying WD40 on the new bolts before tightening the nut because WD40 is a penetrating oil designed to loosen bolts from nuts. I would have used grease on those new threads before tightening the nut instead of WD40. Also I would have used a floor jack to compress those shocks instead of a grinder.
How much lift does your burban have?
It sucks huh. I thought of the jack idea… AFTER I was done. I use to have an ’03 Sierra 2500HD with the 8.1L and Allison Tranny. Loved that thing. You still got your 05?
Hey M2kullVEVO… Not real familiar with bike shock replacements. I think there’s a ton of really good bike guys on here thought that have good vids on that. Maybe try a quick search using your bike make and model…
Dude I had the same problem with my ’05 Sierra 2500HD so I used a floor jack to pump it up and line it up just for the same problem and had to force it in
Hey
I want to ask can i instal shock absorber on my mtb bike and my bike is the normal one without shocks?
Can i just buy the front part and replace it?
Cheers.
