This video is awesome! I normally have to watch multiple videos before I find a decent one to help me. I will definitely look for more 1AAUTO videos when I need help.

Monzai says:

Hey great video BUT I'm pretty sure that's not the voltage regulator, just the terminal for it. This caused much confusion and expense replacing mine, they are almost always integrated within the alternator. Some folks make external voltage regulators but it seems that the only reason is to make it harder for me to find out what the little block is…. Thanks got thr videos, cheers!!

Ryan Werleman says:

hi a want to know how to replace that voltage regulator mine is broken

nagle cobb says:

is that a connector on the rear or a regulator? also refer to the nuts and bolts as to their correct size, not the wrench size please. the regulator should be part of the ecm.

iamnatman says:

Thanks for this video! Taking that front bracket off really helped, but the AC lines were in the way for me. I had to bend mine out of the way a little. The bolts for the battery case snapped on mine too. Corrosion really gets to those things…

William Kolis says:

are there torque specs for the bracket and mounting bolts? or do i go with German specs gutentight?

Kaleb Villarreal says:

Hello great video helped replace mine in my Jeep! Any idea why it would be squealing like a stuck pig? Too tight?

Alex Galvan says:

Hello, very helpful video! Do you happen to know the size of the bottom alternator bolt? I misplaced mine.

I'm a big fan of this channel and the website, however I (and many other people I assume) find it very inconvenient to go to the website and re-sign in and everything, I searched for an app on the App Store and saw that you guys don't have one, is this something that 1aauto is working on getting? Because an app for the website would make things so much better, and will most likely get you guys more customers.
